Chuck Petlicks Web Site http://home.comcast.net/~petlick/VTRAIL.HTM
shows no customers at Arlington. I believe the VTR runs a train from Rutland to North Bennington once a week. Check out Chuck's web site for lots of information on the VRS system.

I believe there will not be a new siding. The #2 main track between Dover and Rollinsford will be rebuilt to passenger train standards. Currently, this track is restricted to 10 MPH and Amtrak Downeaster trains are not permitted to use it. This upgrade will allow Downeaster "meets" at Dove...

NHN does run during the day between Dover and Ossipee. Gulford does the Dover to Boston run at night as DOBO/BODO, usually Monday through Thursday nights, sometimes on Friday. DOBO usually leaves Dover around 8PM, after Amtrak Downeaster #685 clears. BODO returns early in the morning.

DOBO generally runs four nights per week, Monday through Thursday and sometimes on Friday. Usually leaves Dover after Downeaster #685 clears around 8PM. The usual power is two GP38s, NHN 3823 and HLCX 3825. If they have more than 25 cars or so, they add the NHN 1757, a vintage GP9. During the 1990s,...

Yes, this equipment still exists, right along Route #5 in East Barnet, VT. When I passed there last summer, the grass and weeds had grown up quite a bit and a clear photo like that would not be possible. I have never stopped there and I do not know if the owner permits fans on the property.

A poster on another list reported that the Hickory Creek was in Boston South Station yesterday. He noted that the outside is beginning to show some wear and tear since the restoration. Today (Sunday 12/18), it is on 449, which is expected on time into Albany. Unknown, where it is headed from there. ...
