I'm going California this summer. I want to railfan the line at Davis station and curious how busy the line is with UP trains. When I was in California in 2012. I got footage of UP train in Emeryville. But the memory card is giving me problems. Also I've been looking on Yahoo if there is a group. Di...

I'm going to be taking the train from Emeryville to Sacramento. And I will be making a stop at Davis to get some footage. I was curious if there is alot of UP trains on the line. When I was at Emeryville station waiting for my train. I was getting footage of the Amtrak trains and one UP train. And w...

I live a few blocks from the CP Sunbury Sub. The line doesn't have cab signals. But some trains enter the Pittsburgh Line at CP Wye. Recently I noticed NS 11R and 12R running with other railroad power. And I doubt they have cab signals. When they enter the Pittsburgh Line. They get a slow clear. Do ...

I'll be in NJ tomorrow doing some railfanning. Does anyone know any trains that will meet there off the top of their heads? I'm going to look over the time table later on if I get a chance.

Whoa you may want to clarify that question a bit. A slow approach means a slow approach and nothing else as with any signal, it can only convey one indication. I've seen a video where a SEPTA train gets slow approach on the signal. The cab signal says restricting. After a few seconds the cab signal...

I know at certain interlockings that slow clear, medium clear and limited clear could mean something else. At Leaman interlocking on the Keystone Corridor slow approach could mean what it means. Or it could mean slow clear. But on the west side of the interlocking. The signals shows approach limited...

Approach Limited at Bay Street Station

I just found a photo of the signals north of the station before the curve. Both of them show that as their most favorable aspect. I thought there were switches ahead. I did a search on Google Earth and found nothing. The person that took the photo said it was for the curve. But on the Keystone Corri...

What types of signals are they going to install at Harrisburg for the rebuilt interlocking? I heard CPL dwarfs. Someone told me that's not true.

There is someone I subscribe to on Youtube. He does some head end videos on a SEPTA train. In a recent video when the train is approach Overbrook Interlocking. The signal was showing approach. Other times it showed slow approach. The train didn't switch tracks. His train was going down the #1. I've ...

I don't have many photos of the line. I posted on the page boarding platform changes coming up on the line. I'm hoping someone gets footage. I wish I can go. But I work those days and can't get them off.

In the video I was watching. The cab signal had three numbers red. The out layer was white and it was flashing. But I couldn't find that indication on any sites.

I'm trying to find a site that current cab signal indications for them. I found some stuff. But I think they got the information wrong. I was watching a video. The guy got footage of the indication changed. I'm curious about railroad signaling and cab signals. But I couldn't find something that matc...

Is there a short block length east of Summit. Just found a video. The signal at the east end of the Summit station was showing slow approach for a straight route.
