They may also use it if there is a protect engine there and they need to flip it around.

As far as the crossovers I believe they would only need one.
LAKE Interlocking is not that far south (RR East). So you'd have to put one North/West of the station.

Does anyone have a current roster for the MNNR (both Alco and otherwise)?
Are the Alcos still used and if so what jobs are they on?

I know Metra Police handle the lines where metra crews run (Milw, RI etc). Who handles the police duties on the BNSF AND UP lines? Is it Metra or the operating railroad.

I know on the BNSF there is an extra board but there are also pool jobs. If you are on a pool job does that job start at a certain time or are you still called 24\7?

I guess my question is how does a pool job differ from the extra board?

15.75 is the training rate while you are in Wilmington. 19.40 is when you mark up.

I'm pretty sure that Conductors who come over from other RR's don't bring over their pay rate or vacations.

As far as work conditions, from what i've heard, it's 6 of one half a dozen on the other. They are not as uptight as some of the other railroads as in they are not necessarily looking to fire you (but rest assured if you mess up they will). The running joke about the CP is that they are the "Va...

Congrats on getting the invite. As far as what to wear I think you will be fine with business casual. Button down shirt and khaki pants or something similar. The whole process, this is what the railroad is, testing etc, if I remember correctly takes 2-3 hours. It is not that difficult. If you are ru...

I wonder where people go wrong or get hung up on?
