I was able to get up to Syracuse
I believe train is on track 1
All of the lead train has been moved except for the last three cars
Locomotive 7617 is off the track on the north side of the rear cars
I have pictures
I will post shortly, once post processed and uploaded
I was able to go back to Reber Road today
The derailed tank car has been moved from the south side of the tracks to the north side

The images are shot from the Reber Road crossing looking west
if you look carefully you can see the cranes holding the derailed tank car
you can not see the car though

I went to the scene Route 69 is open However Reber Road is closed I could not get close to get any pictures RJ Corman is on the scene along with Adler Tank Rental I talked with the driver for Adler Tank rental he says derailment is 3/4 mile west of Reber Road there are switches in that location http...

No trees where on fire. The orange in the trees is from all the lights on the emergency vehicles.
The fire was contained to the locomotive.

Does anyone know, how they inspect the axles?
Is it a visual inspection, magnaflux exam, x-ray exam or ultrasound exam of the axles or something else
