Home Depot does not stock them online, but they do have them in the stores, I have purchased them before.

Legal stuff aside, the question was: What radios are good for trucks. The answer is most VHF radios will work. Most VHF radios can transmit anywhere from 136-174Mhz. I have an good personal success with Motorola CDM series radios, but will not endorse one radio over another.

Some of the installers for add-ons have hard coded C:\Program Files\.... that worked in Windows 98-XP. Windows Vista Uses C:\Program Data\. my solution was to manually install them onto an XP computer, figure out what files changed and copy them over. It may also be possible to reinstall your Train ...

I believe DCC is actually bi-polar DC. That is, the signal uses +/- DC components, not AC. But you should still not connect a power pack that use 0-12V DC to a system that uses something like -24-0-+24V DC. bi-polar DC is a form of AC, although I've never heard it referred to as such outside of the...

Why would they be in Ohio or Western NY? Aren't these built in the Albany area, or someplace close to? I realize CSX does some weird things, but I can't imagine they'd screw up this badly. Or maybe they did....

I dont know so i am asking...... Is dcc A.C. current? If so can i run a seperate D.C. current in the rails at the same time as the dcc A.C. current or am i asking for trouble? NONONONONO DCC is between 5 and 22 volts AC depending on scale, usually 12-14. DO NOT try and plug the same track into both...

I'm also starting a N scale layout. I got a small 3x3 layout but it looks like it's going to work out well for the scale I'm using. I also have been wondering about the couplers. Is there any way to change them? I have rapido and the newer kind that come on atlas products. Thanks for anyone who can...
