I went there a few times but never photographed the loco by the falls. It looks like a place for gurilla style shooting. Keep low and fire at will.

This years events wasn't as big as last year. There seemed to be less. There was the CP gevo at the turntable area with one of the CNJ F3's. Both were open for cab tours. The other F3 was out in the yard.There was also a small dance floor in the turntable area and people were dancing. Nice to watch ...

I spotted it to when i was at the museum a few weeks ago. I'm about as confused as you are on this one. Maybe it's a pet project. Combination of Electric/steam/diesel power hybrid????? I wonder if you call up the museum if they would even know?

That's a good point concerning emergencies. Seconds do count. I was thinking more in terms of general traffic and commuting. I would think the article was streatching the amount of traffic passing through to make there point on keeping the bridge or having it replaced.

I don't see the bridge being closed as a big loss. There's another bridge just south of that location so people getting to there destination would only take another five or ten minutes. And as for 1100 cars a day traffic over the bridge? I can't picture that although i was never there during the wee...

I'm a little lost on this one???? Negative attenion in what way? Does this mean that the gistapo will be after us railfans for being trackside like with the last ban that took place?

I agree with you when it comes to taking pictures in certain places when you have the opportunity to do so. Now you can look back and realise your images are that much more valuable. :-D
