New county road is still there, it goes over the main/pv line and goes toward a construction companies lot and then goes into the hackensack river park/hudson county park. But there is still the one freight crossing on new county.

What about the elmwood park branch? Where it crosses market street, the boulevard and rt.46?
To bad they didn't have any tracks leading to the terminal to provide some old trains.
Lookin for a small/good radio/scanner to listen to some local train activity that and some police bands. What would you guys recommend? Something not to pricey too.

i've seen them cross rt.17 when i was younger, about 10 years or ago or more. but never see them now. But most of the track has been ripped up west of rt.17 along the road to the dmv when they did construction to fix the drainage pipes to help protect lodi from flooding.
I know there is a place out west where they keep alot of retired cars, but im not sure where exactly. I saw it in weird NJ a few years ago.
