Also, found whatever is left of the old rail that used to make up the many sidings that used to be in this area. Not to much of that remaining.
Very nice pictures, that second one is awesome. looks like there might be a hotbox on one of those tanks!

What kind of camera/lens did you use for these?

The NS 5663 is the very latest rebuilt engine to come out of Juniata..There isn't a 5664 yet.

Mr. Sullivan, actually. Mike isn't cool enough to have the O apostrophe. :-)

Translate the surname into Irish (Ó Súilleabháin) and the "O" (meaning of) reappears.

Same with my family. When my grandparents came over, they translated the name. Ryan was Ó Riain.

Here is a photo of REAL freight train on the Bergen County Line. It will be a LONG time before you see a freight like this running on the County again.

You get "real freights" running on the Main and Bergen from time to time. Sometimes, they run at nights.

i've seen them a few times, no where near 2 miles long like that intermodal was. But you get some pretty decent sized mixed freight.

That mixed freight is nothing more than a glorified local that runs from Allentown to Campbell Hall and return. I dont consider it a real freight unless its a through freight to Binghamton, Buffalo and beyond.

well thats what makes everyone unique. If i saw a freight chugging westward thru rutherford with 5 6 axle loco's, i'de consider that a real freight.
