I have been here for a while now. I think many people have lefy both with this management, and the last because of the lengthy down time. This has happened several times when the site was reconfigured.
I agree that the management should be more careful about picking moderators. There have been some guys posting some stupid things. This is bad, but the moderatiors make it worse. Instead of simply deleting the post, they make a big show. They publicly (vs Private message) threaten them. Next comes the big lock. I think that good tact goes a long way.
I have seen some good threads get locked too. Who cares if you agree. I have seen one locked because the subject shifted. I think that any intellegent discussion is good!
