Exactly how many PRR E's are left?

I know of the only E7 in the Railroad museum of Pennsylvania and the 2 E8's owned by the Juniata Terminal.

Any others operating somewhere, or maybe stored in some deadline?

I know that there is an E8A that was originally a PRR #5794 at the Gold Coast RR Museum in Miami. It is now displayed as Florida East Coast (FEC) #1594 and is still operational.

The two ex-PRR E8's (5809A, 5711A) that operated the Conrail Executive train are alive and well on Bennett Levin's Juniata Terminal Railroad in Philadelphia and have been beautifully restored to full PRR livery, right down their trainphone antennae. They have been operating regularly on various excursions, including some Norfolk Southern shippers specials and inspection trains. Pictures of these units can be found here: http://www.jefflubchanskycpa.com/JUNIATA-TERMINAL.html

To the best of my knowledge, PRR E8 5898 that resided on the Blue Mountain and Reading is still in existance. Last I heard, it was in St Louis and being at least cosmetically restored. I don't believe the other unit, 5706, was quite as fortunate. It was reported as being sold for scrap in 1998 and residing as a shell in Alabama.

Info for two of those units is wrong..
that list says the Central NY NRHS has four units..they have two.

Correct - 5702A Central New York NRHS (NY)
Correct - 5761A Central New York NRHS (NY)

both units are painted in the DL&W scheme and are operational.
based in Syracuse, NY.

Incorrect - 5788A Central New York NRHS (NY)
This unit is actually owned by the URHS of NJ, and is painted in an Erie scheme.

Incorrect - 5798A Central New York NRHS (NY)
This unit is also owned by the URHS of NJ.

Here are the two CNYRHS units, stored at the NYS Fairgrounds. I can't varify any build numbers or ownership. But here we go.

Actually, I thought the quote was from the song "this is the life" from the movie Johnny Dangerously. Weird Al's video of the song is great...but I thought he did it after the movie. I'm not sure here...anyone know??

Oh, and the DLW E-8 looks great, just to stay on topic

Looks like No. 5898 needs a good coat of paint. It's fading bad.

807 was originally PRR 5761A
808 was originally PRR 5702A

(neither were actual DL&W units)

Doesn't the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania (Strasbourg) have two E's? one an older machine (E-3?) rebuilt to E-7, and the other one of the great E-6 Atlantics?
...or was the question about PRR ***diesel*** E types? (Grin!)
