This was supposed to be kept from the common railfan.

Steam engine 142 is scheduled to make its first run after a winter of scheduled
maintenance on Thursday, April 21, 2005.

Plans are to have the locomotive depart east from Butler(it is presently facing
east) and run light(sometime after 11 AM) to Rochelle Park where it will
retrieve the M-1, M-2 and M-4 and then return to Butler where the cars will be switched out and placed as needed.

Chris,

Better not post that information to the NYSW@yahoogroups or you will be banned for life!!!! The Gestapo might target you since taking pictures of the 142 is in violation of homeland security........ :wink:

will be a mostly noctournal move: NYSW-NJT-NS-BDRV Will move via the Bergen Co/Main line to West End, around the wye up the Morristown/Booton line to Dover to NS via Washington Sec to Lehigh line breifly, down the Portland Sec to be picked up by BDRV.

No, there is a difference genious!!! Morristown line goes via MORRISTOWN, Boonton line via BOONTON..... I'm pretty sure last year they went via Morristown, Einstein!

It is spelled g-e-n-i-u-s. Let's not make statements about someone else's mental capacity before examining our own. By the way, the Montclair Line runs through Boonton. All timetable references to the Boonton Line have been deleted.
