Now Eastman is getting switched more than it used to. Its up to 2 times a week now. The product being put out by the company is used in pharmaceuticals which has a higher demand than film.

It used to get 6 cars, once a week. Now it gets 2 cars, twice a week. Huh? Andy

more frequent service and less cars is indicative of a product that is in higher demand and has less lead time. this would make sense given the plant's shift in purpose of manufacturing.

Absolutely. Pharmaceutical gelatin is in high demand. Anybody producing raw materials for medical use is going to be in high demand for the next 30 years with an aging population and some of the new advances in wonder drugs. Natural fit for Eastman the way the Metro Boston biotech economy has swung into overdrive.
