Thanks for your inquiry. For the 2011 season, on the first weekend of each month, the first train of the day will depart Essex station for Old Saybrook at 10:00 AM. Upon arrival at Old Saybrook, it will head back to Essex to become theOld Saybrook AND the boat for $26 is a deal. Will definitely be attending this (but must take taxi from OSB station because buses don't run that early).
11:00 Steam Train & Riverboat.
Purchase tickets for any of the 11:00 AM options, and the 10:00 AM round trip to Old Saybrook is included at no extra cost. On those days, the ticket office will open at 9:30 AM.
