A little neater now: 9008, 9010, and 9009 were running on home rails this morning as 3524.

Ironically, 9002 led train #3223 through Woodbourne with a SL IV married pair trailing. It started out of Elwyn as 326, noted as off to WIL then 234 to Norristown, 235 to WIL and 9242 into roberts just in time for rush hour.

*in my Sideshow Bob voice* Ahhhh, 346-347... my arch nemesis stalker Silverliner IV pair. I guess I'll see that set later this afternoon somewhere since I have to run downtown....

Just leaving 30th Street is a consist I've never seen before: Engine #51 was leading two SLIIs (or IIIs?) numbered 205 and 220. At the end of the train was a blue engine #622, which I haven't seen before. Sorry if the terminology is inexact, I'm an amateur as these things go, but my office overlooks 30th Street and I've never seen a group of cars like this. Anyone know what it's for?

205 and 220 was last reported on the Dead Line and was being prepped for scrapping. The 622 is a Ex-LIRR FP7A which SEPTA uses as a Cab Control Car for the Fall Wash Trains. Did you notice which way it was going?

Heading west on the northernmost track out of 30th St. (track 1?)

Also, #205 had its numbers removed on the side, but still had one on the back.

Track 4 actually. One more question before I put out a APB: did you notice pantographs on 205 and 220?

205 is a Silverliner II. 220 is a Silverliner III. :)

Hmmmm... not a good sign, and if they were heading west, I would bet they were heading to Overbrook to await their fates... which could go either way...

I'm afraid I didn't notice.

Actually, 3223 starts at Elwyn as 328. And, yes, the last two days, 328 has featured a SL IV married pair in front of an ex-Reading SL II. I believe today's was 9012. It's closed to 328's passengers, at least on the leg from Center City to West Trenton.

From a cell-phone-quality image i just received, the two cars did not have pans attached.

For the third day in a row, train 328 had a Silverliner IV married pair (153 and 154) as the first two cars and an ex-Reading Silverliner II as the third car. Today's SL II was the same as Wednesday's - 9002. Presumably, 9002 became the lead car with the other two trailing it on 3223.

Once again, some Budds and Louies are getting the chance to stretch their wheels on a weekend. I rode train 3413 to Center City with 262 & 230. And then I caught train 410 back out with 269 and 211.

Train #315 this morning was a PRR heritage set that contained both "PENNSYLVANIA" cars -- #269 and #218.

#260 was in the lead, followed by #218 and #211, with #269 bringing up the rear.

218 was on train 521 from Landsale to Thorndale Tuesday morning.
