Q351 with a KCS leader is currently working Rochester Yard. 2300 hours Wednesday 12/10

There is a K418-17 with CP 9142 (SD90/43MAC), BNSF 8281 (ES44C4), BNSF 9341 (SD70ACe), the power is away from the train at this time until a crew is called. Power is under Harlem Road bridge. Hopefully this train will leave within the next hour or so!

Heads Up! Q627 passed Utica a few minutes ago with CP 9142 (SD90/43MAC), CSX 8073 (SD40-2), CSX 2623 (GP38-2). Will work in Dewitt around 11 am and my guessing is that he will be into Rochester around 1600 or 1700 hours.

Yesterday at 15:24 hours, CSXT K010 went by me at Quaker Road, Macedon NY with BNSF 5432 (C44-9W) (H2 paint scheme) & BNSF 989 (C44-9W) (H1 paint scheme), the train was waiting for at least 2 or 3 hours @ QC354 (Canandaigua Road).


Train will return as K011 in a day or two with BNSF 989 leading!

Heads Up: CSX K640-19 with KCS 4797 (Belle) KCS 4621 (Gray) through Fostoria after 1700 hours this evening

Hey Scott - a little late on this one but this date 1979, there actually WAS some run-through power here. TV45, which dropped and picked up from the Van Site on the south side at Rochester Yard, had 3 ATSF units - 3524, 3625, and 3152. If you had been trackside roughly 3AM, you would have had a treat!

CSX Q378 with SOO SD60M 6061 in charge & NS SD70M-2 2662 trailing is located @ Willoughby Ohio, just couple miles west of Mentor Ohio. Time: 19:15 hours. The train is tied down. Now what's special about SOO 6061 is that it's the LAST SD60M in SOO Red Candy Apple Paint. The train CSX Q378 is Willard to Buffalo daily manifest freight. Have fun catching this train!

Q364-24 has UP SD70ACe & GECX ES44AC 2022 "Tier 4 GEVO Demo unit" was in Cleveland at 0530. Should be in Buffalo NY by 11 am.

Just saw NS/Soo heading eastbound about 20 mins ago Attridge Rd Crossing in Riga.

Heads Up! 2 very good trains are coming our way in the near future!!!

1st train: CSX K634-05 with RCPE (Rapid City, Pierre Eastern) SD40-2 #6055 leading a Union Pacific SD90/43MAC. Train is in Buffalo, NY right now and most likely be tied down for the night.

2nd train: CSX K684-04 with NS 7229 (SD90/43MAC) leading with [CSX] AC4400CW 490 trailing, train was through Fostoria Ohio at around 1127 am this morning. Train should be in Buffalo, NY late tonight.

I saw one of those NS ex-UP SD9043MACs in Binghamton last Sunday night.

Heads Up! L090-09 with UP 2002, trailing, unknown to it's location. I'm trying my hardest to find a location of it. Last I know it was through Nappanee, IN on the CSX Garret Sub @ 19:23 hours. My thinking is that it's between Cleveland and Buffalo on the Lakeshore Subdivision heading for Buffalo NY for a quick crew change.
