Wnyp 432 leading lal 420 and 425 are sitting right behind pickle nicks right now. It looks like its shaping up to be a long day with the train destine for the junction still. Now it has departed and is headed for genesee junction with quite a train... If you're out and about later, LAL may have good nighttime shots for u later :)

Coming to you LIVE, trackside at the intersection of scottsville rd and the west shore...

The trio are currently switching at genesee junction after making a visit to the brooks ave yard... If you're in the area, you better get out soon! There should be good photo ops trackside tonight!

Luther Brefo, John Sommer, and myself were railfanning the LAL today
(monday 1/8), and chased it southbound, after a 6:30pm (approximate)
departure from Genesee Junction. Upon spotting it at Bailey road, we
proceeded to Avon, only to find that it had not arrived after 30 or
so minutes. We decided to check the museum, and found LAL 425, 420
and WNYP 432 outlawed at the museum. If you're reading your favorite forum tonight (this one, duh :)), get to the museum, as this may be your one and only chance to photograph the units at the museum in a idle environment.

1/11/07 Before 9am this morning a very large (lost count) northbound came into Avon. They stopped for switching here locally. Two engines as the power are #420 and #425.

Large would make sense since they did not do their work yesterday, so they have to pick up three days' worth of drops by Q632?

1/15/07 shortly after 9 this morning the Northbound train came into Avon slowly. A stop to pickup cars from the Industrial spur was done, taking the entire train onto the line for the hookup. The cars were stretched halfway to Kraft from Main St.. Ice conditions probably kept them from the standard hillside coupling of the train. I didnt get the car count but it wasnt very long maybe 10-15 cars into Avon.

1/15/07 - 420 and 425 were chased from Avon to Genesee Junction. They stopped to do switching in Avon, and then switched Howlett Farms, only picking up cars with no dropoffs. Then they proceeded to ?Mark curve, and had lunch. Shortly after, they were caught at Genesee Junction, with 44 cars. Quite a sight seeing them breaking ice and revving up at the same time. 420 bounced to and fro quite a bit, making for almost a nerve wracking sight.
