The Bartlett Roundhouse Preservation Club will be holding an emergency Repair work session on Sunday Feb 6th. The siding on the trackside of the roundhouse suffered damage from high winds earlier in the monh during a storm. We will meet at the Conway Scenic Railroad rear parking lot at 9:00 am and then proceed to the roundhouse after loading the 9 sheets of plywood for the repair session. We could use some help, anyone with a screw gun and not afraid to wade through the snow is welcome. We are also looking for someone with access to a 4 wheel drive snow plow that can plow out the driveway for us. If you can assist us please contact Scotty at [email protected]

Also to let any interested parties know, we are again planning a Budd Car Excursion for this year. The Date is Saturday June 11, 2011. We will go to Conway, Redstone and Notchland. This is a fundraiser for the BRHPC and tickets will be $40.00 a piece. More details will be posted as we know them.

Again, if anyone could help at the work session, we would appreciate it!!.

Thanks,
Scotty Mallett

We are very, very happy to annouce that we heard from our accountant today and we are now officially A NON-PROFIT Corperation or 501C3. It has been 2 1/2 years but it finally came through today! This will allow us to apply for grants and other funding that will preserve the Bartlett Roundhouse for generations to come!!

THANK YOU to all who have supported us!

Same here....fantastic work. Getting a new 501(c)3 off the ground in this day and age is no small feat.
