At just before 2 PM this afternoon GP40-2 #4302 pulled some Multi-level and Arrow MU cars with a ALP46 in between the cars as it went by Linden headed east from Morrisville to MMC. Saw a similar trainset earlier in the month, midday. Must be a fairly common move. Wished I could have taken a video.

Well, they just repainted an SD45-2 in EL heritage paint, wouldn't it be nice if they took one of these SD-40's and gave it the CNJ scheme? I know they weren't original CNJ units anyway, but...

Wow - it turned out absolutely beautiful. Better than I'd imagined. Excellent excellent job. This might have been asked earlier, I missed it - but where will this be operating? It will be nice to get action shots while it's still shiny and bright.

From all the buzz going on about Hurricane Joaquin, it sounds like the high-ground storage yards might get a workout this weekend. Although the last I heard the worst might be south from us maybe in Virginia. Guess if they put anything in these storage yards they have to suspend or severely cut bac...

They are based at Oak Island with occasional runs south to Browns yard....They are never used on former EL territory - which is now part of NS....
