Newark penn has 5 platform tracks, and the area after it has 3 tracks which expand again to i think 5 tracks, then to 2 after that.... i don't see how it would cut slots out if it's in the 4 tracks before newark penn? Those trains could stop at 1 or a eastbound, and 5,4,3 or 2 westbound at newark pe...

Guaranteed to drip wet bird crap and throw ice at people, yay!

I would have simply capped the ends with rounded covers and been done with it....... so much wasted money.

Wouldnt it be easier to get the whole thing funded instead of just the Wawa stadium complex? It's good to see a municipality putting so much effort into this and FINALLY recognizing this needs to be a priority. There is no viable public transit in West Chester right now for city bound workers. For ...

All i see are a bunch of changes to give people commuting to and from the city a faster ride, with no connection to west trenton or warminster at jenkintown. Disappointment muchly.

Were they ACES cars perhaps then? I just cannot imagine why those cars would be out-shopped so far from home for no obvious reason. Were they in a collision? Vandalized? Used for first responder training?

If true, sounds like a clear form of class discrimination if i ever heard one. A special bathroom users club, or heck, even a get out of the 100+ degree heat or freezing blizzard club!! SEPTA needs funding increases, sure, but bathrooms & shelter should be a basic amenity available 24 hours a day.

People seem to be forgetting the horrific traffic jams we now get thanks to the idiotic "train" of constant housing development approval. Also, no one who is flying or busing in from elsewhere will have "their car". If SEPTA does not do -everything they can- to squeeze every avai...

We all get that. The system is a sad mess of patched, crumbling old grand and austere new stations, bridges that need major work or replaced, original and new traction power supply components, orphaned streetcar lines, neglected RRD lines left to rot, bus lines that keep being changed, combined, cut...

Look at signature of first poster, look at comment directly under the image. The whole area is all smoggy (smokey) from all the coal fired activity.

From what i have read on this site, the way PATH service to EWR is to be funded, means they cannot build a station here. It takes the average person 20 minutes to walk a mile. 20 minutes westbound from south street would be pulling into metropark, eastbound it would be pulling into NYP. Think about ...

I have always been a fan of multi-element arrays where safety is concerned. I believe the ACS 64's headlamps are multi-element, but i have no reliable info let alone any specific details on their specs. Their lighting layout is kinda interesting, with the marker and ditch lights behind a door with a...

For what its worth, the West Chester RR's lease on the railroad was recently extended as far North as Lenni. The WCRR does not plan to run any regular trains there, however it was the only option they had to keep the line open to the outside world. Unfortunately SEPTA pawned all of the maintenance ...
