Does anyone know the status of Multi Level Cab 7052. This is the cab car that was side swiped by an Acela leaving NYP.
Is it back in service or has it become a parts donor?
Can a PL fit into the Baltimore Tunnels?
Glad the officer was paying attention since the driver was not. I wonder if he wrote the driver a ticket for blocking the tracks??? If he did, the media should report that too.
No disrespect to the ones who lost their lives. I do not believe that texting or cell phone usage was a factor in this tragic accident. For those drivers who are too busy texting or talking on their cell phones, you cannot fix irresponsible. One thing that may help from a technology standpoint is eq...
Run it to Jamacia and establish a LGA & JFK connection. Follow the median of the Grand Central to the Van Wyck to Jamacia.
Hopefully no one was hurt. Looks like one of the west end large escalators between the upper and lower levels caught fire today. Water was still dripping onto the tracks on the lower level tracks and the platforms were starting to ice up. Signs state that the west side of the station is out of servi...
Just saw 6 NJT ML on the back of a CSX River Line train heading north.
I assume warranty work. Any other possibilities? Sandy repairs?
I heard it was a 45. It did not fair very well is my understanding. Engineer was ok, and that is all that matters.
How are the repairs going on the PL42AC #4020 going.
This is the engine that struck the truck stuck on the tracks in Garfield at the beginning of the summer.
I am sure the damage was more than cosmetic, but it appeared only the fake nose was crushed.
Any updates???
Sounds like a lot of money for a one time event
There is a set of 6 Multi Levels and an ALP-45DP roaming around the Hoboken Division.
Rode it on the way in and the way out today on the BCL. I did not notice a difference between the ALP45DP and the PL42AC's that are normally assigned. The ALP was much quieter on acceleration.
How did they bring them into Penn??? Did they come down the west side or take the wye in the Bronx and come down the NEC in New Rochelle??? If they came in on the west side, they must have had to crawl through the tunnel due to the sharp curve in the tunnel.
8 ACES 2 ML all being pulled by 1 very clean PL42AC on Meadowlands Line tonight.
I guess my first post was not the most descriptive. 4113 horn sounds like a freight train horn. it sounds similar to the old horn 4112 previously had. Post all sarcasm you want, I am just asking a question.
