Perhaps some hope for it to be saved. Middletown seems to have a business interested. The station is now in the hands of the town away from the health agency.

Oops! The idea of a museum and excursion trains out of the old CIBA site was a nice pipe dream. After an hour of research, I found out the site is owned by BASF and is still contaminated (federal Superfund site) with BASF stating cleanup will probably last decades longer. Wow!! Good research, Harry...

How about the New Jersey Railroad Museum at the old CIBA area? A lot of potential for excursions; north to Red Bank and south to Woodmansie.
