Thanks for that thorough post Wog!

Saturday should be a great chase, and it will be nice to explore the old yard up in Lincoln. I'm also looking forward to getting pictures of the old boxcars, and Budds. I haven't seen the new signals there yet either.

So New England Southern is only running one Caboose Train this year? I always thought there were at least two Caboose Trains to Concord during the season.
Does Peter have a safety meeting before every trip as well?

The safety meetings are held by the caboose group. Safety meetings for the train/flagging crew are before NEGS departs the tower.

So far I know of only the one for NEGS. The whole PAR thing kinda put a shadow on what NEGS could do for a schedule. Pete could at any time adv that he could do another trip and I'm sure the caboose people would sign up.

Wog, thanks for posting the schedule....I forgot about that...you know, it was only emailed to me as it was sent out to all the caboose owners and train crews!! LOL

I was just wondering how the washouts are going to affect next weekends caboose train run. Have they fixed all the damage along the line?

The trip that is scheduled for this weekend has been cancled by Hobo. However it maybe going on NEGS instead. I'm just waiting for a confirmation from the boss on if it is a go or not, and then I'll need to head up and do an inspection on Thursday or Friday.
