CMSL Cape May (NJ) Seashore Lines Non-Passenger Operations

It looks like GMTX 215 is going to ADM in Kershaw SC. In the picture it looks like the reporting mark is on a removable magnet, probably so it matches its movement waybill and can be removed when on home rails, pretty slick.

NJSL ran a weed sprayer truck down the tracks again recently. Last years weed spraying was in mid August.

No changes to the Union Ave train crossing.

I hear they're hiring down there on the Cape May line. Sounds like an opportunity to go play with trains.

Expect the PRSL 2000 to be delivered to CMSL soon. CSX M403 dropped it in Philly yesterday.

Also it’s possibly replacing the LTEX 1449.

Sources say it's gonna be an engine swap at the interchange tomorrow. The lease for the new engine. The lease engine's not going far away. LTEX'll be sending it to a nearby switching operator.

Hmm… Paulsboro and Eddystone are the rail served refineries nearby that I know of…

Paulsboro is switched by SMS. Real good professional railroaders. When I say nearby, I mean within 100 miles or so. Eddystone was looking for an engine but we switch it with the road power.

SMS lost the Paulsboro job several years ago.

Excuse me. SGS or whatever they want to call themselves now, it's still at least one SMS person working there.

The 2000 left Camden and went to Tucakhoe yesterday.

Per my guy at cape may line, they'll hold onto the lease engine about a week or two. Hear they're still looking for people to work for them.

They are supposed to break ground on the Gateway Tunnels next month.
