Worcester Snow Train ?

Came across a small wood sign labled "WORCESTER SNOW TRAIN", which I assume is from Worcester, MA. Curious as to what this train was, a passenger/ski trip special, or work train ?

Snow Trains did run from Worcester to Littleton - among other points - during the 1930s. So, it is conceivable that both a Boston-bound and a Worcester-bound train could have been waiting for passengers at the same time at the same location, which would explain the need for the sign.
