April 7, 2004 — A woman is hospitalized after trying to beat a train.
Trenton Police say the woman walked around a crossing gate even though it was down. Despite warning lights and the train sounding its horn she did not get out of the way of a light rail train heading north into the Trenton station.
The woman's injuries are not life threatening. Train service was interrupted for two hours and passengers were bused while the accident was investigated.
