Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad diesel locomotive #430 sat Tuesday afternoon on the Waitz Road crossing near Rouseville after thick snow and ice on the tracks derailed the engine's front wheels.

Waitz Road near Rouseville, PA was closed for most of the day as railroad employees worked to put the train back onto the tracks.

Railroad workers planned to bring another train engine to the site and pull the derailed train backward in hopes it would slide back onto the rails.

Thankfully, no one was hurt and the engine does not appear to be too badly damaged.

What's the latest about 430? Is it back in service?
