I have just installed my scanner antenna up here on the house and I am getting great reception but the scanner is tied to the antennas input line.
Is there such a device similar to the Linksys network wireless repeater that I could use to make my RadioShack handheld Pro-44 scanner wireless around the house/yard but with the same reception strength of being antenna tied?
Thanks.
:-)

They have repeaters, yes, but they're not cheap...you might be best off getting a cheap set of walkie-talkies with a VoX function and connecting the headphone port of your base scanner to the mic port of one of the walkie-talkies.

Or a baby monitor.
