I'm trying to think what the timeline for the Erie terminal was after the bulk of the service was moved to Hoboken, which I think was in 1958 -- certainly before the EL merger. After that I think the Northern Branch and NYS&W continued to use Jersey City for a short time. I know that the Northern Branch trains moved to Hoboken eventually, necessitating a switchback move, and I'm wondering if it was then that the NYS&W cut back to Susquehanna Transfer. In any event, it must have been a narrow window from 1954 to whenever it finally shut down.
