I got the permission to have the pro diver`s to dive the quarry. slated for sometime this summer. not sure of the date as of yet. I`ll keep you all posted on the up dates to come.

Update: This project is no rumor, it's 100% real. The divers will be diving the quarry sometime August, 2005. We are hoping we will find the locomotive, if not we still made history in what ever may be down there.

I read this whole thread with some real anticipation. Hoping to get to the bottom of the page and find out the engine's been rescued out of the quarry. What has happened since July of 2005?
