Right; according to the link posted by Mr. Norman, the southbound electric was on the first track at left and the northbound on the 4th; Amtrak southbound uses the 5th (the first of the non-electrified tracks). Most likely the authorities closed off the whole right-of-way for their investigation.

Does anybody know why #50 (25th) eastbound Cardinal lost 3' 15" from Connersville to Cincinnati?

did anyone else notice that the Crescents last few days were the latest trains of any system wide Amtrak. Even worse than the above noted Cardinal.

NEC Charles interlocking is FUBAR at this time. Trains taking a hit having to go north to go south.
Edit: 20 min delays.

#30 (9th) eastbound CPITOL limited Dp'd. CHI 4'00" late; and

#352 (10th) eastbound Wolverine lost about 6'00" from Royal Oak to Pontiac; shows Ar. PNT 7' 07" late.

Just in case anyone asks, 351-13 lost almost three hours between Jackson and Albion due to a pedestrian strike.

#30-9 was due to a mechanical issue in CHI.

Does anybody know why eastbound Wolverines #'s 350, 352, and 354 ( 13th) show no times Royal Oak to Pontiac with the notation "Service Disruption"?

Westbound #355 showed no delay through the same area.

Is there a reroute between Wilson and Raleigh for the Palmetto?]

I stopped to see Selma once on an East Coast trip; it’s not far off 95. Cool station. It’s on the NW corner of a frog, must have been a “Union” station. I think it’s just north of a yard, and west of one as well.

Believe it’s single track territory so a reroute would be necessary. So, some rare mileage.
