Railroad Museum [for a day] is hosted by the United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey, owners of the largest and most historic railroad collection in New Jersey. During the once-a-year event, the URHS Restoration Facility in Boonton, NJ will become New Jersey's largest railroad museum. Railroad Museum [for a day] provides a rare—and family-friendly—opportunity to admire, explore, and go inside of our historic trains and learn about their connection to the region we live in.

Apologies if this isn’t the right place to ask but will the inclement weather this weekend cancel the museum event the URHS has planned for this Sunday?

The event is cancelled. However, Boonton Yard will be open for a no-frills open house.

Hi George,

I understand some people don't want social media, whether it's Instagram, Facebook, "X", YouTube, Reddit, et al. There are times I wish it hadn't been invented. However, some do use it. This is for them.

I don't know whether or not you're using a smart phone or laptop/desktop to access us (for which I thank you), but I don't believe you need to be on (or log in) to access just the picture, or video, or other media. It may only require a mouse-click or tap on your part.

I post this way because I'm trying to expand our presence and make people aware that there are more ways to access the site.

I hope that explains it.
