Thinking about it...

Lately I've been considering working for the railroad in the future, but I dont really know much about how you go about getting a job. Is attending a school (at your own expense) mandatory to get a job? Are there any railroads that pay for your training?

It's amazing how new threads appear with just about the same questions over and over. Try reading the other threads on this page and you'll probably find the answers to a lot of your questions have already been given.
