The Providence Line had problems as well #800 ended up arriving at Ruggles around the time #802 does, power of #800 engine-1053. I believe #802 did a run a round from behind #800 to in front it bypassing Ruggles at around 6:25 or so power was I think a 1100 on it. But due to traffic on the NEC #609 ...

Well there's only one way to see if this works is to bring it out onto the subway trains on maybe two pairs similar to the Big Red Project in the Red Line!!
