Hey does anybody now the frequencie for the dispatcher in binghamton or where ever in this area because they were talking today and i got lost because i didnt now what the dispatcher was saying. Thanks!!!

There is no container facility.

An article in the Binghamton Depressing Some Bullshi^^n last week said that CP is going to add a 2 mile passing siding "somewhere in Susquehanna County PA" to facilitate a small team track in the area for things like loading stone, etc. Due to increased traffic and lack of capacity on the road.

There is no container facility planned for CP in the twin tiers at this time that has been in the press. If there were, I think the best spot would be Bevier Street yards in Binghamton, near the confluence of Interstates 81, 86, and 88.

Where? There's no room in Bevier anymore. There's Agway to the west, and the strip club, to the east there's space, but not enough.

umm where would i find this info in the newspaper???Does anyone think they might extend double track from afton to sidney??? I know there's probaly enough room through there. Does anyone think there might be one.Also what do you see in the future for the D&H from bingo to oneonta??? im hoping to see either mead,anthonol,or stock building supply to start getting daily shipments. cause there is room and they are starting to do it in unalam. Soooo..... i hope that happens it would bring alot more action and buisness down thru here cause all we get is the once and a while D22 sitting on the siding down here. Thanks!!!

Does anybody now if there is an EOT in either bainbridge or sidney cause i know theres one in afton but when a train goes by like a minute later my EOT on my scanner beeps just like i would pick it up in afton. so im confused...Does anyone know???Thanks

Did anyone else hear about the ethanol plant being built in shelby,ny orleans county??? I looked on google maps and there is railroad accesibility. Will that increase movement in the Binghamton area??? Just somthing i found out and checked out and now spreading the word

Trevor, Orleans County is a long way from Binghamton. It's much closer to Buffalo, though since I don't know what they'll be bringing in, I don't know what might pass through Bingo...but a safe bet is corn, and lots of it, and that likely won't be coming through Bingo.

Back to the EOT thing once they hit just about the main st crossing i always here the EOT go off. But i cant tell about how far away the end of the train is. Im thinking maybe just before the RT 7 overpass. But still does anyone know.

The EOT conversation is running in the area of MP's580 bainbridge ny and 575 sidney ny

They transmit a very short distance. That's why you don't hear them very long. They're kind of a heads up.
