One other cool way to see this, especially the crossing of 95/128 is the https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer website.
Search for Woburn, MA and work you way up the map view to the Main Street / Rte 38 interchange with 95/128.
Once you have centered it on the interchange (zoom in so it takes up most of the viewer), select the 2013 aerial to get the current view. Then pick 1963 and then 1955. You can clearly see how they completely rebuilt the interchange to take advantage of the underpass the railroad gave up in 1959.

Kind of amazing that they rebuilt the interchange between 1959 and 1963, the highway (and the original interchange) were not very old at that point.

And yes, https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer is really cool for a lot of locations around Boston...

Enough of the ROW is also visibile when looking at property lines on google maps.

There are definately encrouchments here and there. Abbott St and the District Court appear to be on the ROW near the downtown area.
