Hello there I was wondering does anyone the current horns used on the Yadkin Valley units like the SD40-2s and the GP40-2LWs which I'm sure have K3LA horns on them. As for the Tunnel Motors numbered 6002-6004 I am sure they are equipped with Leslie horns but don't know which ones exactly.Same for the SD40-2s numbered 6001 and 6005?? But thanks in advance for anyone willing to figure this out!!! ;)

I wouldn't be so sure that the GP40-2Ws have K3LAs. They were originally built with K3Ls, and the vast majority of them kept their K3Ls all through their careers on CN. Unless Yadkin Valley replaced them, that's probably what they still have.

Thanks but I do remember coming across mostly all CN power had a K3L and nothing but. But any ideas for the SD40-2s??

6007 appears to have a Nathan P5. I couldn't find any roof shots of the others.

I want to say 6004 has a Leslie but more so sounds like a high pitched Nathan. As for 6003 seems to have Nathan K3LA or something simliar on a Leslie!!
