Delivery and revenue service status of Silverliner V cars

Admin Note: adding an image thread to this post by Matthew Mitchell at another user's request. Hope you don't mind. Will check sticky status as well. As we get to more pages I suggest the image code be added as we go.

Hey Alex, let's set up a sticky to contain status reports for delivery of each Silverliner V car and when it entered revenue service.

Car 701 was delivered by truck to Liberty Yard March 3, 2010

Car 801 was delivered by truck to Liberty Yard March 4, 2010

Car 802 was delivered by truck to Liberty Yard March 5, 2010

Train 1061 to Cynwyd.

Cars 703, 803, and 804 were delivered by CSX to SEPTA at Woodbourne Dec. 30, 2010.

The first Silverliner Vs from the production line in South Philadelphia entered revenue service February 21 on train 501 from Lansdale.

Cars 805 and 806 were delivered by CSX to SEPTA at Woodbourne Feb. 18, 2011.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT ONE CAR HAS BEEN ACCEPTED By SEPTA FOR SERVICE! Even though they are running as revenue trains, we don't own them, and they aren't part of our roster of equipment.
All cars are going through their trial phase. Many problems must be resolved and many hours of 'run tests' need to be successfully completed. BTW the heat issue has yet to be resolved.

Car 704 shipped on February 28th, according to the monthly report and subsequent sightings.

Cars 807 and 808 were delivered March 23 or 24, more than a week later than originally expected in February monthly report (see http://railroad.net/forums/viewtopic.ph ... 90#p913547).

I took the idea for a status image from the METRA Forum for their rebuilds. As more cars are delilvered, i can change this accordingly. Last date edited is listed.
