Erie RR Rochester Div had a turntable at Wayland but no roundhouse. Wayland was the high point on the line.
The turntable was just northwest of the station, 100 feet east of where Scott St. dead ended at Clark St.
I would assume that more freight was moving westbound vs. eastbound, but the alignment of the turntable access
from the west would suggest otherwise.
