I was wondering ......... is there a photoban for Septa like NJT???? I hope there isnt!

Right now, SEPTA's main concern is where will it's next dollar come from. In addition, a photoban would not help its poor public image, and it will be costly [thanks to the overly litigous Philadelphians--they will sue on a moment's notice].

They can't keep people from eating, drinking (alcohol or otherwise) and smoking in stations and on the El, let alone stop people from taking pictures. Outside of CC, you won't see a SEPTA cop anywhere unless its at Frankford or 60th St Terminal

SEPTA can't enforce the basic laws on the system, what do you think that they can enforce a photoban.

As far as a photoban is concerned, I have "broken" the bans on NJT, MTA, PANYNJ, and MBTA.

SEPTA has a seldom-enforced rule requiring a permit to photograph SEPTA equipment from SEPTA property. A friend of mine got yelled at last Wednesday for photographing the Ridge Avenue Subway at 8th & Market.
I had no problem discretely photographing the Broad Street Subway at Girard.

Really! On my travels on SEPTA over the years, I have seen people SMOKE POT on el and subway platforms, and not a single cop around to stop it.
