What time will the test runs will be in action?

Most likely in the AM. I don't know exactly when or how many round trips it will make. Keep your eyes open and cameras ready.

Wasn't this service funded for two years? It may be too late to ask the MTA for a refund!!

funded or not, running near empty trains is still pissing away money, keeping a whole bunch of crews qualified every year for NYP service that will never materialize is pissing away more money and resources.
since those crews at some point have to be covered with overtime.

Near empty? What's your definition of that?

Since the trains will run this year anyway, why don't we hold off condemning the service until wee see some ridership numbers? Since there will only be one round trip, the ridership maybe much higher. BTW, last fall I was on one of the first trains (#3137) and we had almost 250 people on board that one train.

No, that's not the average load per train. If you are going to comment, you should at least know the facts. Thank you for showing that you did not and still do not know the facts about the ridership. You and MNR Conductor both don't know the ridership facts. So you both should not have been commenting.
