Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a couple of questions regarding Vermont Rail System, if anyone knows. I saw on their Web site that they have haulage rights almost the length of the Conn River Line and all the way to Palmer via the NEC. Do they actually run trains on these routes? Thanks!

NECR and unfortunately Guilford handle all traffic on the conn river line between, White River and palmer, (The entire conn river line would be better off if Guilford left all traffic to NECR and VRS), Guilfords service here has been nothing short of atrocious......

Ah, so the map is more wishful thinking. In recent years it seems as if the Vermont system has put the old Rutland (and beyond) back together. How are they doing? I see more activity in Bellows Falls these days when I pass through. Although, I never see any Green Mountain locomotives -- except for the RS-1 -- in Bellows Falls, it is always C&P. Thanks for the info, by the way.
