Pittsburgh Light Rail Question

Will be in Pittsburgh all day Thursday
Coming in on the Pensylvanian Wed. leaving Friday morning.
Yes, I coming for the Yankee Game.
Would like to ride the light rail system and make a few "railfan" stops.
Station Square - Worth a stop? Any other recommendations?
Light Rail ticketing system?

There's quite a few good places in Pgh. If you're looking to stay downtown, try West Park too. Located a few block west of Allegheny Gen Hosp. on W. North Ave. on the Northside.
