Hi all,
I'm working on my N scale track plan for the 4th sub and I'm going to include the International Paper plant near Ticonderoga.
My layout is based in the mid 70's.
Does anyone have any info on what local serviced the plant? and what the car mix would have been.
Also looking at a few pictures I found of the plant today, I see a large wood chip pile. Were chips brought in by rail in the 70's and if so what type of cars did they use.
On the rare chance someone has a track layout of the plant, I'd love to get a copy.
Thanks for any help,
Jon
PS: I'm also looking for any other trackside industries that were on the 4th sub in the mid 70's I could model, if anyone has suggestions.
