Mystery Symbol Freight

Does anyone in the forum have any details about symbol freight NYB-1?

It was the feature story in an old issue of Railroad Magazine 1940.

My question is, was this the precursor of BNE-2 or FFW-1? in the 1950's?

I have ETT's from 1942 up, and there is no mention of this train in the symbol freight schedules.

Does anyone have any kind of "proof" of it's existance?

Both NYB-1 and BNE-2 existed as of 1940.
NYB-1 departed Oak Island 800P daily except Sunday and ran westbound
BNE-2 showed departing Buffalo at 730P and was an eastward train.
NYB-1's principle function appeared to move hot merchandise and perishable traffic while BNE-2 appeared to handle hot eastbound perishible from connections in Buffalo and intermediate points.
This information comes from LV Instructions to Teminals and Blocking Instructions.
FFW-1 does not appear in any Company documentation I have from 1940 back.
