There are no trains that only operate between Lynn and Swampscott. Do you mean buses? Lynn is closed for demolition and eventual replacement, so they have shuttle buses set up.

Trains skip Lynn, and you need to use a shuttle bus to/from Swampscott to get to Lynn. There is an alert explaining it on the Ts site.

Has the T talked to GE about opening up River Works while Lynn is closed? Wasn't there discussion about it being opened up with some new development nearby?

There was going to be a development on the east side of the railroad. It never came to be. As it stands today, Riverworks is land locked in private property. There is no public access for pedestrians or a vehicle.
