westbound #355 was 2' 35" late Dp. PNT; does this equipment turn off #350?

3+ hour engine delay close to the NOL city draw bridge. Station maintenance personell has to travel to the loco to fix something? With 2 locos on the train must have been a severe problem?

Per @AmtrakAlerts:
City of New Orleans Train 59 that departed Chicago (CHI) on 2/14 is currently operating about 2hr 50min late due to earlier equipment issues at CHI; and freight train interference and mechanical issues between Homewood (HMW) and Carbondale (CDL).

Update: Capital Limited Train 29 which is scheduled to depart Washington (WAS) 2/13 is now on the move currently operating about 3hr late due to a track issue in the yard outside of WAS.
Hmm... 29 on the 13th... MARC Brunswick line would be affected as well... *checks MARC announcement email* nope, no delays there. Must of been an Ivy City issue in the yard, when they were hauling the train from yard to WAS.

BNSF computer problems screwed up Amtrak trains system wide. Delays up to 5 hours. And also freight trains.

Track work between New Carrolton and the MARC Odenton Station (read: GROVE interlocking south of BWI) starting March 4th. Trains are going to take a 10-15 minute hit. New schedules are being pushed for MARC, and I bet Amtrak NEC as well.
