CSX In Crystal River Fla

According to SPV's Comprehensive Atlas the tracks are gone south of Red Level Jct. So just coal trains to the power plant north of town.
That line is now the property of Florida Northern Railroad; I believe there are still infrequent moves to the Progress Energy facility usually with CSX power on the point.

the new owner of the nuke plant is scraping it and will be replacing with new gasboilers new construction, so for the next 10-15 yrs this rail line will be important. beside coal.
Was still being used when I saw it last summer. Some mornings, you can see empties with CSX power waiting to head north, just south of Newberry. I guess that is the crew change point between Florida Northern and CSX.
