A few monthes ago I was at a nearby convenience store and I saw a headline on one of the newpapers. It said something about commuter train tests in Pompton Lakes that would occur around noon a few days later. Apparently there were a lot of people interested that planned on seeing the tests occur. (God knows how they can have time to watch a commuter train test at noon on a Wedensday or Tuesday. ) I was tempted to buy the paper so I could get some more details but I didn't. :( I searched around for it here and it doesn't seem to have been mentioned. Does anyone know how the test went? Apparently they were using some special setup for the test, something with 2 locos on either end.

That test was of the Colorado DMU car. Those days were rainy and nasty, but the DMU was here. Never did hear what the outcome of the test was, however.
