The only one in operation is in Shanghai, which is no doubt much busier than Pittsburgh. I gather that not even that one is entirely successful.

A very short one in Birmingham (UK) worked well for several years but was not high speed and connected the rail station with the airport. It was removed and replaced with a conventional wheel on rails shuttle.
