The Orange Line has repainting equipment into an updated scheme for at least a year now. The equipment that has been repainted is very sharp looking. Today I noticed that the pair 01210/01211 appeared to have just been released. I noted that the mounts for a pantograph provision on this pair had been removed. Has anyone else noticed the mounts removed on any other pairs?

Of course without camera in hand I can confirm seeing 01210/01211 all nice and shiny sans their pantograph mounts and cables. They were the lead on a Wellington Yard pullout but the second pair 01202/01203 were also sans their pantograph mounts and cables. Looks like a metal patch welded at the bracket and cable locations and a touch of roofing tar with gray paint on top of it all. Color wise 01210/01211 look lighter in color but I think it is just out of the paint booth.

So, now to compile the list of cars with and without.
